Morehead City Historic District, Historic district near downtown waterfront in Morehead City, United States.
The district spans 40 acres along Fisher Street and Bridges Street, containing over 120 buildings with Queen Anne and Colonial Revival architectural designs.
The National Park Service added the Morehead City Historic District to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003, preserving structures from 1899 to 1930.
The Franklin Memorial Methodist Church from 1923 and First Baptist Church from 1920s represent the religious development of the waterfront community.
Walking tours of the historic district provide access to significant buildings, including the Dudley House from 1857 and multiple church structures.
The district experienced changes when the Charles S. Wallace Graded Public School, constructed in 1930, underwent demolition in 2019.
