El Loco

El Loco is a steel roller coaster located inside Adventuredome at Circus Circus Las Vegas, starting with a vertical lift hill followed by steep drops and four inversions through the enclosed space. The roughly two-minute ride features outward-banking turns that create an unusual sensation for riders.

This roller coaster launched in 2014 as the first indoor version of its S&S Worldwide model type to open anywhere. The opening established Adventuredome as a venue for cutting-edge coaster engineering.

The roller coaster design incorporates engineering innovations by Alan Schilke, introducing outward banking turns that changed steel coaster construction.

The ride operates year-round inside the climate-controlled Adventuredome hall, making it accessible regardless of weather outside. Riders should know that height and health restrictions apply to ensure safety.

Each rider's seat has its own audio system playing synchronized music throughout the entire journey. This personal sound experience adds a layer to what riders feel during the inversions and turns.
