Wynn Las Vegas, Luxury resort and casino in Paradise, United States
Wynn Las Vegas is a hotel tower with more than 2,700 rooms on a property that includes gaming areas, a golf course and man-made water features in the Paradise district. The complex spreads across several buildings with restaurants, theaters and shops under a single management.
The developer acquired the former Desert Inn property in 2000 and opened the new hotel in April 2005. The project ranked among the most expensive hotel constructions in the region at that time.
Guests walk through carefully designed interiors with arrangements of fresh orchids and silk wall coverings throughout the main floors. The resort maintains a contemporary style without historical themes or recreated landmarks from other countries.
Most areas of the resort are accessible to visitors who can move freely between dining venues and gaming floors. The layout follows a clear system with signage in the main corridors.
A carpet pattern throughout the resort never repeats itself and was designed using a special computer program. The outdoor areas display more than 1,000 trees that were brought to the property as fully grown specimens.
