Jet Star 2 is a steel roller coaster at Lagoon amusement park in Farmington, Utah, standing 44.3 feet tall. Its trains start up a spiral lift, then descend a hill, take a left turn, a right turn and a smaller drop before a series of drops and turns lead to the brake run and unloading station.

The ride first ran at Expo '74 in Spokane, Washington, where it operated for the duration of the world's fair in 1974. After the event closed, it was moved to Lagoon in Utah, where it has run continuously since 1976.

The ride's name travelled beyond the park: after it ran at the 1974 World's Fair in Spokane, local brewery NoLi Brewhouse named one of its beers "Jet Star" in its honour. Riders board three large seats holding up to six people, and Lagoon requires at least two riders per car.

A minimum height requirement applies to this ride, so it is worth checking before joining the queue if you are visiting with younger children. Since each car needs at least two riders, going in even-numbered groups makes boarding straightforward.

The repaint that swapped the colours came in 2006, not 2005: the track turned yellow and the supports red, and the lighted sign atop the lift hill was taken down at the same time. Before that the scheme was reversed, with red track and yellow supports.
