President's House

The President's House is the official residence for Clemson University's president and their family. The structure combines classical architectural elements with contemporary living standards and sits prominently on the main campus grounds.

The current building was constructed in the 1950s and replaced an earlier presidential residence from the late 1800s. Over the decades, it has been updated several times to meet evolving needs and standards.

The residence hosts university events where students and faculty gather throughout the year. It represents the continuity of campus traditions and academic community values.

The building sits at the campus entrance and is easily spotted from the main approach routes. As a private residence, interior access is restricted, but visitors can view the exterior and grounds from public campus areas.

At night, the building's exterior is illuminated with an orange projection of the Tiger Paw logo, which is the university's symbol. This nighttime lighting makes the structure a striking landmark that stands out on campus.
