Littlejohn Coliseum, Sports stadium in Clemson, South Carolina, United States
Littlejohn Coliseum is a multi-purpose arena in Clemson with three levels of seating, separate club areas, and modern display boards throughout. The facility offers specialized spaces and training areas for basketball teams and other events.
The arena opened in 1968 and was named after James C. Littlejohn, a 1908 alumnus who supported Clemson athletic projects. A major renovation in 2016 transformed the layout and modernized the facilities significantly.
The coliseum hosts over 150 events annually, from basketball games to career fairs, concerts, and the traditional Clemson Ring Ceremony.
The arena is easy to navigate as it is well-marked and accessible to all visitors. The facility hosts many different types of events throughout the year, so checking the event calendar helps plan the best time to visit.
During the 2016 renovation, the basketball court was rotated 90 degrees to better utilize the space within the building. This unusual change is one detail visitors often miss while exploring the facility.
