Stonington Opera House

Stonington Opera House is a wooden theatre building constructed in 1912 located at the corner of Main Street. The structure features a distinctive hip roof on its southern section that shelters the stage area and backstage facilities.

The building rose in 1912 after a fire destroyed an earlier structure, marking a fresh start for the community's gathering space. It gained recognition on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.
