The Gardens on Spring Creek

The Gardens on Spring Creek sprawls across 18 acres along a creek waterway, featuring different themed sections such as fragrance, rose, and butterfly gardens. The grounds also include a visitor center with exhibits about garden culture and plant science.

The site began in the early 2000s as a community initiative and grew into a major garden destination for the region. A significant expansion in 2017 doubled the visitor center size and updated facilities throughout the grounds.

The space serves as a learning hub where visitors explore sustainable gardening methods and environmental care through hands-on experience. Classes and events teach practical ways to create greener gardens at home.

The site is open during daylight hours and the grounds are easy to navigate on foot. Shaded paths and rest areas provide relief during sunny or warm weather.

A large glass house holds living butterflies native to North America in a tropical setting. Visitors can watch the insects up close as they flutter around flowering plants.
