USS LCI-713, World War II landing craft museum in Portland, United States.
The USS LCI(L)-713 measures 158 feet in length and features a bow ramp designed for direct deployment of 200 soldiers onto beaches.
The vessel participated in two major amphibious assaults during 1945, landing troops at Zamboanga in the Philippines and Brunei Bay in Borneo.
The Amphibious Forces Memorial Museum maintains this landing craft to educate visitors about naval operations and maritime military history.
Located at Gate 18, 5556 N. Lagoon Avenue in Portland, the museum opens its doors to visitors every Thursday and Saturday.
This landing craft represents the only remaining World War II LCI vessel preserved in its original configuration in North America.
