Evansburg Historic District, Historic district in Lower Providence Township, United States
The Evansburg Historic District is a preserved area in Lower Providence Township containing more than 50 registered properties from different periods. The buildings show architectural styles ranging from Colonial times to the Victorian era, spread across the landscape.
The settlement began in 1684 when land was purchased from the Lenape leader Maughaugam and was renamed Hustletown in 1773. Military operations passed through the area during the American Revolution in 1777.
