Di Rosa Contemporary Art Center

The di Rosa Center spans 217 acres with indoor galleries and outdoor sculpture gardens displaying over 1,600 artworks from Northern California artists.

The property, originally part of Rancho Huichica, began as a vineyard in 1855 and transformed into an art center when Rene di Rosa purchased it in 1960.

The center maintains a collection featuring works by notable artists Robert Arneson, Bruce Conner, Jay DeFeo, and William T. Wiley from the mid-twentieth century.

Visitors can participate in guided tours, art workshops, nature hikes, and summer camps while exploring both the indoor and outdoor exhibition spaces.

The center includes a 35-acre lake called Winery Lake, created by Rene di Rosa, which adds to the natural landscape surrounding the art installations.
