520 West 28th Street is a residential building defined by curved metal panels and glass surfaces spanning 11 stories, creating a flowing silhouette along Manhattan's skyline. The structure holds 39 residences with private elevator access, ranging from two to five bedrooms, along with a 75-foot (23 meter) swimming pool.
The building opened in 2017 and represents one of the final projects by architect Zaha Hadid, who passed away in 2016. Her design approach left a lasting impression on residential architecture in this part of Manhattan.
Four art galleries occupy the street level of 520 West 28th Street, and a sculpture platform displays works curated by Friends of the High Line. The building's name honors Zaha Hadid, who designed it as her only residential project in New York.

The building's laser-cut stainless-steel trim was fabricated and finished in Broomall, Pennsylvania, by M Cohen And Sons. The 11 stories are split into 21 staggered levels, and the duplex penthouse is set back from the rest of the L-shaped mass. A 29-car automated garage serves residents.
