UCLA Health Training Center

The UCLA Health Training Center is a professional basketball training facility in El Segundo with two regulation courts, strength training areas, and medical rehabilitation spaces under one roof. The layout separates different functions across the building to allow simultaneous use for various training and recovery activities.

This facility opened in 2017 as the Lakers' practice home through a partnership between the NBA team and UCLA Health medical center. The collaboration brought together professional basketball training and medical expertise under one organization.

The training center features a theater room with specialized seating for 30 people, enabling team meetings and strategic discussions among players and staff.

Dedicated parking is available from Mariposa Avenue with spaces marked for electric vehicles and game-day visitors. Access is straightforward, and facilities are designed to handle regular traffic on event days.

A restored vintage barber chair sits within the facility, preserving a nostalgic piece of earlier times. The aquatics area features a therapy pool equipped with an underwater treadmill for advanced recovery methods.
