Teatro Municipal de Antofagasta

The Teatro Municipal de Antofagasta is a theater building with a modern design spread across multiple levels, featuring two main audience sections with different capacities. The lower hall holds roughly 567 seats while the upper level accommodates approximately 300 more, creating flexible options for different types of productions.

Construction began in 1966, but financial difficulties delayed the project significantly. The building finally opened to the public in September 1981 after more than a decade of work.
