Casa Abaroa, Historical museum in Antofagasta, Chile
The neoclassical building features two floors, a basement, arched windows, and ornamental balustrades along the main corridor stairs.
Built in 1920 by Spanish architect Jaime Pedreny for entrepreneur Andronico Abaroa, the structure reflects the architectural preferences of early 20th century Antofagasta.
The property operated as the Museo Historico del Salitre, presenting exhibitions about the nitrate industry and regional heritage of northern Chile.
Located at Avenida Jose Miguel Carrera 1715 near Parque Brasil, the building spans 1,716 square meters across multiple levels.
The structure includes two smaller buildings in the front yard that originally served as a garage and a gatehouse.
