Neghuts Monastery

The monastery complex includes a domed St. Astvatsatsin Church and two small chapels positioned at the northeastern and southeastern corners of the structure.

The monastery's main church was completed in 1213, followed by the construction of its narthex in 1221 under the direction of architect Aghbayrik vardapet.

The monastery contains numerous medieval stone inscriptions that document religious practices and social life in medieval Armenian communities through detailed engravings.

The monastery sits on a hill approximately 2 kilometers northwest of Arzakan village, accessible via a marked pathway from the main road.

The monastery features gray basalt stone construction techniques specific to the region, with surviving elements showing advanced medieval Armenian engineering methods.
