Roman Catholic Church of Tonga, Catholic cathedral on Vuna Road, Nuku'alofa, Tonga

The cathedral is not a basilica: the Basilica of Saint Anthony of Padua, also in Nuku'alofa, is a separate church. The cathedral serves as seat of the Diocese of Tonga, created in 1966 by Pope Paul VI's bull "Prophetarum voices", and is led by Cardinal Soane Patita Paini Mafi.
