The Teatro del Lago spans 10,000 square meters on Llanquihue Lake shores, featuring a main concert hall that accommodates 1,200 spectators.
Construction of the theater began in 1998 after Hotel Frutillar burned down, and the project reached completion in 2010 with a total investment of 20 million dollars.
The venue hosts the Semanas Musicales de Frutillar between January and February, marking Chile's largest classical music festival.
The theater complex includes an amphitheater for 270 people, multiple exhibition areas, rehearsal spaces, and conference rooms for various events.
International musicians from the London Symphony Orchestra provide master classes at the theater, contributing to musical education in southern Chile.
