Las Cascadas

Las Cascadas sits at the foot of Osorno Volcano along the eastern shore of Lake Llanquihue, surrounded by native forests and mountain landscapes.

German settlers established this community in the 19th century, contributing to the development of Puerto Octay and the surrounding Lake District region.

Visitors can access the 50-meter waterfall via a 30-minute trail along the Blanco River, with free entry and parking available near the trailhead.

The village serves as an entry point to Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park, offering direct access to La Picada sector through Puerto Klocker.
