Museo Naval Casa Grau

Museo Naval Casa Grau is a house museum in a colonial building on Huancavelica Street displaying two floors of restored period rooms. The house preserves furniture, personal objects, and naval collections that illustrate the life of an influential family during the 19th century.

The building dates from the 18th century and served as the admiral's private residence before being converted to document Peru's naval history. Its transformation into a museum reflects Peru's interest in preserving the role of its maritime leaders in national events.

The house carries the name of Admiral Miguel Grau, whose life is documented here through personal belongings and ship models. Visitors can observe how a wealthy family lived during Peru's republican period and connected with the nation's maritime history.
