The Edificio Banco Continental stands 19 floors tall in the financial district of San Isidro, featuring modern architectural elements and extensive office spaces.
Constructed in 1980, the building marked the beginning of banking institutions establishing high-rise headquarters in this section of Lima's expanding business district.
The structure represents the evolution of Lima's financial sector, with its design by architects Victor Smirnoff, Victor Ramirez, and Jose Kanashiro reflecting Peruvian corporate architecture.
The building contains 64,860 square meters of operational space, housing numerous banking facilities and corporate offices with direct access to Lima's main transportation routes.
A 2012 renovation added a metallic antenna to the structure, temporarily making it the tallest building in Peru at 137 meters until 2015.
