Casa Suárez, Heritage house in Miraflores, Peru.
The Casa Suárez features neo-baroque architectural elements across its 1,300 square meters, including 35 rooms, a central patio, and decorated entrance halls.
Built in 1939 by architect Ricardo de Jaxa Malachowski for congressman Gay Suárez del Castillo, the residence hosted numerous political gatherings during Manuel Prado's government.
The Ministry of Culture of Peru declared Casa Suárez as National Cultural Heritage in May 2007, recognizing its architectural and historical value.
Located at 4275 Arequipa Avenue in Lima's Miraflores district, the house received restoration work in 2016 with an investment of 400,000 Peruvian soles.
The residence contains a private chapel with an image of the Lord of Miracles and its facade draws inspiration from the Government Palace of Peru.
