Edificio Femenil, Beaux-Arts building in Caballito, Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The Edificio Femenil extends across half a block with eight upper floors and features independent vertical access points for each of its four sections.
Built in 1928 by architect Eustaquio Ballester for Dr. Jaime Lavallol, the building initially housed the Femenil magazine in its commercial area.
The structure exemplifies the French academic style with its ground floor columned portico and characteristic mansard roof on the top level.
Located on Avenida Rivadavia between Puán and Chirimay streets, the building stands directly in front of Puán subway station on line A.
In 2009, Buenos Aires City Law 3213 designated the Edificio Femenil as a protected heritage site with precautionary status.
