Edificio Femenil, Beaux-Arts building in Caballito, Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Edificio Femenil is a Beaux-Arts building in Caballito that spans approximately half a block with eight stories above ground. The structure divides into four independent sections, each with its own vertical access points.

The building was erected in 1928 under the direction of architect Eustaquio Ballester for Dr. Jaime Lavallol. The ground floor originally housed the Femenil publication in its commercial area.

The building displays French academic style through its ground-floor columned entrance hall and distinctive mansard roof at the top level. These architectural features continue to shape the streetscape in this neighborhood.

The building stands on Avenida Rivadavia between Puán and Chirimay streets, directly across from Puán subway station on line A. Its central location makes access by public transportation straightforward.

In 2009, Buenos Aires City Law 3213 granted the building protected heritage status with precautionary designation. This legal recognition underscores its significance to the city's architectural history.
