Homenaje Centenario

Homenaje Centenario is a marble statue in Parque Rivadavia that depicts a young woman drawing water from a basin. The artwork is carved from white marble and forms an important sculptural element within the park's landscape.

The Catalan community in Buenos Aires donated this sculpture to the city and it was inaugurated on July 19, 1931. The work was created as part of the centennial celebrations of Argentine independence.
