The Estadio Ciudad de Río Cuarto is a sports venue with covered stands on the east and west sides, accommodating up to 15,000 spectators. The facility features artificial lighting and modernized locker rooms situated beneath the west stand.

Inaugurated on 12 October 1938 at the Mogote grounds with an 8-1 Estudiantes win over Argentino de Marcos Juárez. A first concrete stand, the west tribune, opened on 17 August 1959 against Newell's Old Boys, and artificial lighting followed on 20 January 1961. The east stand on Avenida España was partly opened on 25 May 1966 with a friendly against Independiente de Avellaneda, and new changing rooms were added under the west stand on 19 April 1975.

The ground is home to Asociación Atlética Estudiantes, known as "el León", which plays in Argentina's Primera División. The club's move to the Mogote site in 1938 gave Río Cuarto one of the largest stadiums in the interior of Córdoba, and the ground still carries the name of Antonio Candini.

The ground sits at Avenida España 251, with the eastern stand built along that avenue. The first concrete stand, on the west side, opened in 1959 and drew complaints about poor visibility; the new changing rooms were added beneath it in 1975. Floodlights were installed on 20 January 1961.

During the 1980s, the venue hosted Championship matches against major clubs like Boca Juniors and River Plate. These games brought the stadium into national prominence.
