Anibal Cambas Regional Museum, Regional history museum in Posadas, Argentina.
The museum occupies an 1882 English-style building with brick facade, containing three sections dedicated to archaeological, biological, and historical collections.
The museum, officially inaugurated on March 20, 1940, takes its name from Don Anibal Cambas, a founder of the Board of Historical Studies of Misiones.
The Julio César Sánchez Ratti section exhibits materials from indigenous cultures including guayaquí, guaraní, chiripá, and mbya, along with prehistoric artifacts dating back to 7000 BC.
Located in Parque República del Paraguay at Roque González 550, the museum opens Tuesday through Friday from 8:00 to 12:00 and 15:00 to 20:00, and Saturdays from 9:00 to 12:00 and 17:00 to 20:00.
The museum houses funerary urns called yapepos, created by native populations for burial practices, and weapons from the Triple Alliance War of 1865.
