Museo Juan Yaparí

The Provincial Fine Arts Museum Juan Yaparí displays a collection of approximately 300 works by regional and national Argentine artists in a central location.

The museum bears the name of an indigenous painter and engraver who made substantial contributions to art during the Jesuit missions period in the region.

The Maruja Ledesma exhibition room hosts rotating displays of contemporary artworks, along with seminars and conferences that highlight Argentine artistic expressions.

Located at Sarmiento 319, the museum opens Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 12:30 and 16:30 to 21:00, with modified hours on weekends.

The permanent collection features works by Juan Carlos Castagnino, Emilio Centurión, Lucas Braulio Areco, and Ramón Ayala, representing different artistic movements.
