Estádio Olímpico Colosso da Lagoa, Football stadium in Erechim, Brazil

Estádio Olímpico Colosso da Lagoa is a football stadium on Avenida Sete de Setembro in Erechim, owned by Ypiranga Futebol Clube. Its pitch measures 110 by 76 metres, one of the largest in Brazilian football, and the stands hold 22,000 spectators, including 2,000 white seats brought from Beira-Rio. A 3.5-metre ball stands in front of the entrance gate.

Ypiranga played at the Estádio da Montanha until the 1960s, when president Oscar Abal backed a new ground on Avenida Sete de Setembro, financed by selling patrimonial titles and demolishing the old stadium. Works began in 1967 and the Colosso da Lagoa opened on 2 September 1970 with a friendly tournament; Santos beat Grêmio 2-0 and Pelé scored the first goal, the 1,040th of his career. A record 25,000 saw Internacional beat Ypiranga 2-0 on 18 August 1974.

The stadium is named after the Lagoa Vermelha, the red lake beside it, and its nickname Colosso da Lagoa comes from that same water. Ypiranga's ground on Avenida Sete de Setembro also hosted four Grenal clássicos between Grêmio and Internacional, in 1992, 2009, 2010 and 2013, the first ending 0-0.
