Estadio Jesús Bermúdez

Estadio Jesús Bermúdez is a multi-purpose sports facility designed for football matches and athletics events with a main playing field. The stadium holds up to 35,000 spectators across concrete terraces, some covered and others open to the sky.

The facility was founded in 1955 and named after Jesús Bermúdez, who was Bolivia's first national team goalkeeper. This opening represented a major development for organized sports in Oruro.

This is where San José, the local football club, plays its home matches and draws supporters from throughout Oruro and surrounding areas. Match days transform the space into a gathering point for the community.

The stadium is located near William Booth College and offers different access points depending on events and activities. It is advisable to check ahead of time about access conditions, as usage varies throughout the year.

The stadium hosted important matches during two Copa América tournaments, including group stage games in 1975 and a third-place match in 1997. These continental competitions gave the venue international sporting significance.
