Jesuit Church

The Jesuit Church is a place of worship from the colonial period, built with stone walls and wooden columns. The rectangular structure features a large central nave that leads to the altar area, showing construction methods of that era.

This house of worship was built in 1745 by Spanish missionaries establishing religious centers across what is now Bolivia. It stands as proof of the architectural skills and religious influence of that colonial period.

The church displays religious artworks where European Catholic imagery meets local artistic expressions. Walking through, you notice how the decoration and figures blend two different creative worlds together.
