Simon Iturri Patino, a prominent tin industry magnate, commissioned this residence in 1927, though his family never inhabited the completed structure.
The building now operates as the Simon I. Patino Educational and Cultural Center, hosting art exhibitions and maintaining a collection of historical documents.
Visitors can explore the palace and gardens through guided tours available from Tuesday to Friday between 15:00 and 18:30.
The palace gardens contain an array of sculptures depicting zodiac signs, cherubs, angels, and female figures among exotic plant species.
