Cambará do Sul

Located at an elevation of 1,031 meters, Cambará do Sul spans across 1,212 square kilometers of diverse natural landscapes in southern Brazil.

The municipality gained its administrative independence on December 20, 1963, when it separated from the larger São Francisco de Paula region.

Local traditions combine elements of indigenous heritage with Portuguese influences, reflected in regional festivals and traditional cooking methods.
