Complexo Esportivo da Ulbra

The Complexo Esportivo da Ulbra is a sports facility in Canoas with a football stadium, three multipurpose gymnasiums, supplementary training fields, and tennis courts. The site brings together different sports venues on a shared campus designed for both competition and training.

Construction of the complex began in 2000 and the facility opened in 2001 as part of the Lutheran University of Brazil's infrastructure. It was developed during a period when the university sought to expand its sports capabilities.

The stadium recorded its highest attendance of 7,119 spectators during a match between Ulbra and Internacional on June 6, 2004.

The venue offers accommodation options including 15 apartments with private bathrooms and a dining area that can serve around 60 people at a time. This setup makes it convenient for teams or training groups staying on site for extended periods.

The playing field features natural grass and is locally known by the nickname 'Luther's Cauldron'. This name reflects the venue's importance to the university and the local sports community.
