The Willy Zumblick Museum contains 72 paintings, eight sculptures, and 115 commemorative items including trophies, medals, and certificates from the artist's career.
Founded in September 2000, the museum preserves the legacy of painter Willy Zumblick, who was born in Tubarão in 1913 and received guidance from German artist Frederick Wilhelm Lobe.
The collection features artworks depicting regional folklore, landscapes, still life compositions, caricatures, panels, monuments, and traditional Brazilian figurehead carvings.
Located in the Cultural Center of Tubarão, the museum opens Monday through Friday from 13:00 to 19:00 and does not charge an entrance fee.
The museum displays the original work tools used by Willy Zumblick, who began his artistic career creating movie posters during his teenage years.
