The Museu Atelier Homero Massena displays paintings, personal belongings, and work materials in the former residence of the Brazilian painter Homero Massena.
The house, which served as Massena's home from 1951 to 1974, received official heritage status in 1979 and opened as a museum in 1984.
The museum preserves the complete studio setup, unfinished paintings, and original furniture arrangements that showcase the daily life of this Brazilian master painter.
Located on Rua Antonio Ferreira Queiroz 281, the museum welcomes visitors Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 17:00 and Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00.
The museum maintains the exact layout of the rooms as they were during Massena's lifetime, including his painting materials and personal correspondence collection.
