Cais das Artes

The Cais das Artes features a 3,000-square-meter exhibition space and a theater that accommodates 1,300 spectators along the waterfront of Vitoria.

Built in 2007, the complex emerged from a collaboration between the Government of Espirito Santo and ArcelorMittal Companhia Siderurgica Tubarao to establish a major cultural center.

The center presents contemporary art exhibitions, educational initiatives, and performances that connect the local community with national artistic movements.

The museum spaces stretch across three main levels, with a ground-floor cafeteria and public areas that remain accessible during opening hours.

Two massive prestressed concrete beams, positioned twenty meters apart, elevate the museum three meters above ground, creating an uninterrupted view of the harbor.
