Iglesia del Carmen

The Iglesia del Carmen is a church structure featuring a Baroque facade with smooth columns and ornate capitals at its entrance. Inside, you will find three altarpieces, with the central one kept simple while the side ones display elaborate columns and fine craftsmanship.

Construction began in 1717 on land granted by Sebastian Pedro Arraya and was completed by the late 1700s. The building emerged during a period of active religious construction and expansion in the city.
