Church of Our Lady of the Good Death

The Church of Our Lady of the Good Death is a baroque building with octagonal form, clay tile roofs, and exterior walls decorated with floral motifs and curving details. Inside, exhibition rooms display a substantial collection of religious objects spanning multiple centuries.

The building was constructed in 1779 on the site of a founder's former house. A fire in 1921 destroyed the main altar and sacred images, requiring significant restoration of the interior.

The church houses a Sacred Art Museum where visitors encounter silverware, furniture, sculptures, and paintings accumulated over centuries. This collection reveals how religious artworks were treasured and preserved across generations.

The building is well preserved and offers barrier-free access for visitors to explore the interior. The collection is distributed across multiple rooms, so a leisurely walk through the spaces allows you to see everything properly.

The building houses a bronze bell cast in the city in 1785, kept in an original wooden structure outside the main building. This bell is a rare example of local metalworking skill from that period.
