The site is located roughly 130 kilometers southwest of Lake Victoria in a remote area of the district. Visitors should expect challenging terrain and limited infrastructure in this region.
The deposit is among the world's largest high-grade nickel sulfide deposits with over 620 kilometers of exploration drilling across the site. This extensive exploration work has enabled precise resource estimation and understanding of the mineral occurrence.
