Lemurs' Park, Nature reserve and botanical garden in Imerintsiatosika, Madagascar
The five-hectare park contains more than 70 plant species native to Madagascar and houses nine different lemur species living in their natural environment.
Laurent Amouric and Maxime Allorge established the park in 2000 as a sanctuary for rehabilitating former pet lemurs and preparing them for release into nature.
The park helps connect the urban population of Antananarivo with Madagascar's wildlife through educational programs and guided tours about lemur conservation.
Located 22 kilometers from Antananarivo, the park operates daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and provides shuttle services, guided tours, and a restaurant.
Seven diurnal and two nocturnal lemur species roam freely throughout the grounds, with scheduled feeding times occurring every two hours between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
