Signature Tower Jakarta, Proposed skyscraper in SCBD, Indonesia
Signature Tower Jakarta is a proposed skyscraper in the Sudirman Central Business District with 113 floors above ground and 6 basement levels. The structure is designed to reach 638 meters in height and provide office and commercial space in one of the city's major business areas.
The project received planning approval in 2015 but faced postponement in 2018 due to market conditions and financial challenges in the office sector. This delay led to a review of the plans and reassessment of the project's viability.
The tower design incorporates elements representing Indonesia's tradition of constructing large structures that demonstrate national advancement and economic progress.
The site is located in the central business district and is easily accessible by public transport. As a proposed project, visits are not currently possible, but the surrounding area offers many cafes and restaurants to explore.
The building employs a core-outrigger-mega-frame system with composite concrete cores and steel truss networks to manage lateral loads effectively.
