Sequis Center Tower, Office tower in Sudirman Central Business District, Indonesia
Sequis Center Tower is a modern office building in the Sudirman Central Business District standing 210 meters tall across 40 floors. Its design features a glass exterior with four interconnected structural tubes that create its distinctive silhouette.
Construction began in 2014 and the building opened in 2018, marking a major addition to Jakarta's business district infrastructure. The project represented substantial investment in the city's growing financial sector.
The tower's design draws inspiration from the Banyan tree, a culturally significant plant in Indonesia, with planted gardens distributed across multiple roof levels. These green spaces reflect how the building incorporates local nature into its modern urban presence.
The building connects to nearby office complexes, retail centers, and the MRT Jakarta Istora station through covered pedestrian bridges. Visitors can easily move between the tower and connected locations without going outside.
The tower was Indonesia's first building to achieve LEED Platinum certification, using shading fins and advanced stormwater management systems. These environmental features are visible on the exterior and contribute to its technical design.
