The Indonesian Department of Health established this institution in 1980 and officially inaugurated it on December 16, 2003.
The museum includes three main sections: Historical Health Room, Health Science and Technology Room, and Cultural Health Performance Room.
Located at Indrapura Street 17, the museum opens Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM with an entrance fee of 1,500 rupiah.
The facility maintains a collection of medical equipment dating back to 1950, including traditional healing instruments and human reproduction exhibits.
