Central Mamuju, Administrative region in West Sulawesi, Indonesia.
Central Mamuju is an administrative region in West Sulawesi comprising five districts spread across the territory. Tobadak serves as the administrative center where government functions are based.
The territory was established in 2012 following the administrative division of the original Mamuju Regency. This reorganization created an independent territorial unit within West Sulawesi.
Each of the five districts - Pangale, Budong-Budong, Tobadak, Topoyo, and Karossa - maintains distinct local customs within their respective administrative centers.
The region experiences a tropical climate with warm temperatures year-round and significant rainfall throughout the year. Visitors should prepare for humid conditions and regular rain when traveling through the area.
The five districts vary greatly in their geographical size, with some areas being considerably more compact than others. These differences create varying levels of development and settlement patterns across the region.
