Telstra House

Telstra House is a 24-story high-rise in Adelaide's central business district featuring modern office spaces designed for commercial use. The building underwent comprehensive renovation in 2019 to update its facilities and systems.

Construction started in 1984 and was completed in 1987, making it briefly Adelaide's tallest building. The following year another tower surpassed it in height, ending its reign as the city's highest structure.

This building shows how office spaces were designed in Adelaide during the 1980s and reflects the commercial needs of that era. Its presence still shapes the skyline of the business district today.

The building sits on Pirie Street in the city center and is easy to spot when walking through the business district. Since it is an office building with restricted access, visitors can typically only view the public areas near the entrance.

Ownership changed in December 2022, leading to a rebranding where it is now known as 30 Pirie Street. This name shift reflects efforts to reposition the building as a contemporary office destination.
