St Francis Xavier's Roman Catholic Church, Berrima

St Francis Xavier's Roman Catholic Church features pointed arches, ribbed vaults, and traditional Gothic architectural elements along the Hume Highway in Berrima.

Augustus Pugin designed this religious building in 1849, marking a significant period of Catholic expansion in colonial New South Wales during the mid-nineteenth century.

The church maintains its position as a central gathering point for Catholic ceremonies and religious education, representing early European settlement patterns in rural Australia.

The building includes wheelchair access and serves regular Mass services under the administration of Pauline Fathers within the Parish of St Paul.
