John Macarthur established Camden Park in 1805 after receiving land grants, transforming it into a center for wool production and agricultural innovation.
The gardens, created by Sir William Macarthur, contain numerous 19th-century plants, including some of Australia's oldest anemone-flowered camellias.
Visitors can explore the preserved colonial architecture, agricultural facilities, and extensive gardens during scheduled guided tours throughout the year.
The estate contributed to Australia's wine industry development by cultivating 33 grape varieties and exporting vine cuttings to South Australia.
