Horderns Beach

Horderns Beach is a sandy shore with clear water that extends roughly 580 meters along Bundeena's coastline. Native plants and rock formations line the edges of the beach.

The beach takes its name from Samuel Horden, an early settler who helped shape Bundeena's development. The area was originally home to the Dharawal people before European arrival.

The beach serves as a gathering place where locals swim, fish, and spend time with family throughout the year. These everyday activities shape the rhythm of life in this coastal village.

You can reach the beach through several entrances along Brighton Street, Horderns Lane, and Liverpool Street. Restroom facilities are located near the ferry terminal area.

The beach allows dogs to run freely during specific times of the day, making it a popular spot for dog owners. This arrangement lets owners enjoy the shoreline with their pets in a designated space.
