Christ Church Cathedral, Grafton

The cathedral displays pink sandstock bricks throughout its structure, featuring over 90 different ornamental brickwork patterns and a double archway at the west end.

Construction of the cathedral began in 1874 under architect John Horbury Hunt's direction, with the first section dedicated in 1884 and final additions completed in 1937.

The cathedral serves as the principal church of the Anglican Diocese of Grafton, which extends across coastal regions and river areas of New South Wales.

The cathedral welcomes visitors daily at 14 Duke Street, offering scheduled tours, morning and evening prayer services, and access to the bookshop and opportunity shop.

The structure incorporates a stained glass window from 1896 above the high altar, created by Lyon and Cottier of Sydney, accommodating up to 1000 people.
