Trump International Hotel and Tower, Luxury condo hotel in Waikiki, Hawaii, United States
Trump International Hotel and Tower is a 38-story high-rise in Waikiki that combines residential condominiums with hotel rooms and offers views of the Pacific Ocean and Oahu's landscape. The building houses multiple dining venues, a spa, fitness center, and features a sixth-floor lobby with ocean views.
The project launched in 2006 and reached a notable milestone by selling all 462 units in a single day. This rapid sales success reflected strong demand for the property at that time.
The property rebranded itself as Ka La'i Waikiki Beach in 2024, incorporating Native Hawaiian cultural elements into its identity. This shift reflects how the place now presents itself in connection with local traditions and heritage.
The building sits near Waikiki Beach and provides various facilities on its floors for guest use. Access to amenities like the spa and restaurants flows through the central lobby, which offers ocean views as soon as you enter.
Although the building carried the Trump name for many years, the Trump organization was never directly involved in its operations. Management fell to Irongate, showing that the name did not necessarily reflect who actually ran the place.
